Climates. Brand name ‘reverse cycle’ air conditioners dominate the
North American heat pump market and are usually designed to handle
peak loads during cooling cycles only, making them very inefficient
heat pumps.
DESIGN STRENGTHS
Ecotec units are only designed to
provide economical home heating in winter with no reverse cycle air
cooling in summer. As a result, Ecotec provides the best economy
and performance in modern heat pump design.
With no complicated circuit boards and
wiring schematics which are prone to fail over time, our Heat Pumps
are quite, simple to operate, simple to install and require very
little maintenance. Only basic plumbing skills are required to
retrofit existing buildings or install on newly built homes.
Our units perform extremely well in
Northern Climates acting as the primary source of heat for both home
heating and hot water. Our unique fin design and defrost cycles
prevent freeze-up even in the coolest of conditions. Our rugged
design and over sized components perform extremely well under the
most demanding conditions.
